Pragati Maidan
Pragati Maidan, meaning “Progress Grounds”, is the largest exhibition centre in India. It is a complex covering nearly 150 acres and is the venue for exhibitions and trade fairs organised by the India Trade Fair Promotion Organisation. The halls have been designed by some of India’s eminent architects such as Charles Correa, Raj Rewal, Achyut Kanvinde & Satish Grover. Exhibitions are held here throughout the year and cover a range of products from Textiles to Jewellery, Automobiles, Mining equipment and Food products. The New Delhi Auto Expo is held every year and the World Book Fair & India International Travel & Tourism Show are held once every two years.
