War Graves Cemetry
This historic site is located approximately 2 km from the Dhaula Kuan circle. The cemetry houses the graves of the brave soldiers and airmen of the British commonwealth who died on the Eastern Front during World War II. The entrance plaque proudly reads “Their Name Liveth Ever - more”. The graves are set in neat rows with matching headstones with etchings of Regimental Insignia and biblical texts. Every Remembrance Day (11 Nov), wreaths are laid at the Memorial Column, followed by a short prayer.
