Lal Bagh Botanical Gardens
The 18th Century botanical garden laid out by Hyder Ali is well known for rare tropical and subtropical plants. Spread across 240 acres, the garden has a lawnclock, a glass house modelled on the lines of London’s Crystal Palace and the Lal Bagh rock which is one of the oldest rock formations on Earth.
