Red Fort
This magnificent structure dates back to the peak of Mughal power and is about 16 km from the hotel. When the emperor rode out on elephant back, into the streets of Old Delhi, it was a spectacular display of pomp and power. Aurangzeb was the first and the last great Mughal Emperor to rule from here. There’s also a Sound and Light show each evening that recreates events of India’s history.
