Araku Valley
This picturesque valley on the Eastern Ghats is known for its scenic landscape, bracing climate, orchards, silvery streams and rich flora and fauna. The journey to the valley either by ghat road or by train winding through the many tunnels is in itself a pleasure. Dumbriguda, a station on the way is the highest rail point in Asia. The tribal habitat museum, a tribal village, a herbarium of exotic plants and traditional folk dances including the famous "Dhimsa" are the other attractions here.
