US Green Building Council has accorded ITC's luxury hotels with its highest (USGBC) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) platinum rating. ITC's executive director, Nakul Anand said ITC is the first hotel chain in the world to have this rating for all its premium luxury hotels. LEED green building rating system awards buildings points for satisfying specified green building criteria.
