Bukhara rated the Best Indian Restaurant amongst 15 others worldwide

Situated in the Maurya Sheraton Hotel, Bukhara has long been a standard of excellence in New Delhi. Founder Imtiaz Quereshi was the first to take a classic Indian dish and make it into a star turn – in this case, the tandoori.

Artfully unreconstructed – there is no cutlery and the menu is written on something which more closely resembles a tree than paper – Bukhara nonetheless attracts the A crowd : Clinton famously wished he had two stomachs after eating here, and one of the menus has been named after his daughter Chelsea. Make sure you book well in advance.
