Energy : We generate enough green energy through self-owned wind farms capable of lighting up the entire Delhi - Mumbai Highway
Energy Efficiency Achievements
For Existing Hotels
Approximately 25% of electrical energy demand is met through renewable source i.e. Wind and Solar
All hotels use 18-29% (average) less energy than USEPA’s (United States Environmental Protection Agency) benchmark for large size Luxury Hotels.
Usage of Solar Thermal system for hot water and low pressure steam application – aiding in reduction of fossil fuel consumption.
Usage of non-ozone depleting refrigeration gases.
Building operating systems like Heating, Ventilation and Air-conditioning (HVAC) system, Thermal system, Water management system and Building Management System have been upgraded to ensure increased performance efficiencies (10-18% enhanced performance)
For New Hotels

In addition to the initiatives carried out at our existing Hotels:

100% of electrical energy demand is met through renewable sources i.e. Wind and Solar
Approximately 40% energy saving as compared to the national average base data for luxury hotels.
Green chillers that provide Air conditioning comfort with lowest electrical consumption
Variable pumping system for Air-conditioning which saves more than 10% of electrical energy vis-à-vis conventional system
Energy efficient cooling towers which consumes 15% less energy vis-à-vis conventional system.
Sensors that gauge Carbon dioxide in various areas and release fresh air for guest comfort, hence reducing the energy consumption.
Room temperature and humidity control by Automated Room Controller, resulting in saving of energy.
Multi-glazed windows that ensure minimal heat penetration thus reducing the air conditioning load.
Back of the house areas are provided with Variable Air Volume (VAV) based AC leading to energy saving & productive work environment.
Energy efficient boilers with automated Oxygen supply aiding low fuel consumption.
100 % waste heat utilization for hot water generation
Use of Solar energy for cooking.
Usage of LEDs in guest and public areas.
Automation of restaurant, lobby and façade mood lighting, saving electrical energy.
More than 80% of the space has direct daylight and view.
