Going green to me means becoming aware of all the different ways I can help the planet. Even small things like recycling and saving gas are things each of us can do to help. It is not just an idea it is a commitment.

In our day-to-day activities, we actually release substantial amount of toxic substances into the environment. It also means taking steps, whether big or small, to minimize the harm you do to the environment (including the carbon footprints you leave behind), as a result of inhabiting this planet.

In hindi there is one quotation honhaar virbaan ke hot chikne pat it means ' a plant's leaf is green and soft, the tree will surely grow vast and well. So if we preserve our earth with trees and reduce pollution, it is certain our earth will prosper and grow. So we should all take a green pledge and save the earth!

1) Replace one regular lightbulb with CFLs and LEDs 2) Have one less meat-based meal a week to help the planet and your diet. 3) PLANT A TREE - It's good for the air, the land, can shade your house and save on cooling.
