The Best Rate Guarantee does not include taxes, gratuities, or any additional charges or fees that may apply to your stay
The Competing Rate must be for the same hotel, room type (including but not limited to similar room size, bedding, views, and amenities), rate type, number of guests, dates, length of stay and rate rules (including but not limited to cancellation policies).
The competing rate must be bookable on an authorized online website/mobile application other than the ITC Hotels website. The Best Rate Guarantee shall not be applicable to advertised or enquiry only rates or rates found offline, negotiated corporate rates, group rates, rates requiring membership in a club/ organization or membership of the concerned website/mobile application on which the competing rate is available, direct mail or email solicitations, cash back offers or other rates that are not available to the general public. ITC Limited reserves the right to deny a claim if the availability of the Competing Rate cannot be independently verified at the time we process the claim.
The Best Rate Guarantee does not apply to
'Package Rates' - i.e. those in which hotel accommodations are bundled with airfare, car rental, inclusive meals or paid amenities like sight seeing, spa treatments etc.
Package or group add-on rates that extend the length of a stay.
Opaque or auction sites where the hotel brand and/or the specific hotel is not known until booking is finalized. Examples of these types of sites include, but are not limited to, Priceline and Hotwire.
Rates that require a guest to login to a website/mobile application to access his/her membership to complete a booking, regardless of whether the membership requires a fee, is free, or if membership is automatically created as part of the booking process.
Rates that are not immediately bookable. To clarify, certain third party websites do not provide an immediate email confirmation of the booking after completion of the reservation or are confirmed as “on request” or similar status with confirmation sent at a later time. These third party sites are deemed not immediately bookable and are not valid. A claim submitted by any other person apart from the guest on whose name the reservation has been made.
Rates negotiated for stays extending beyond 30 nights.
Pre-paid rates which involve a voucher to be redeemed at the hotel.
If the Competing Rate is obtained after applying any promotional code/e-voucher/gift-card by the customer on any website/mobile application.
If the Competing Rate is in a different currency from the rate booked on the ITC Hotels website
For any disputes arising under these Terms and Conditions the courts at New Delhi shall have the exclusive jurisdiction.
A claim can only be submitted via the online Best Rate Guarantee Claim Form on the ITC Hotels website (itchotels.in). To submit a claim, the guest shall have to fill out the required fields, check the box to agree to the Terms & Conditions, and click the submit button. We shall endeavour to have the claim verification completed within two (2) business days of receiving the claim.
Limitation for submission of a claim: A claim must be duly submitted through the claim form not later than 24 hours of making the initial reservation through the ITC Hotels website (itchotels.in) and at least 48 hours before the standard check in time for the respective hotel. The initial reservation means the original reservation made on itchotels.in and does not include modified or cancelled reservations.
ITC shall have the discretion to deny any claim where the difference between the rates is less than one percent (1%).
Eligibility and validity: Only a reservation made on the ITC Hotels website (itchotels.in) shall be eligible for the Best Rate Guarantee. The Best Rate Guarantee shall be valid against the price of such reservation.
ITC Limited reserves the right in its sole discretion to determine the validity of any claim.
Best Rate Guarantee applies to authorised rates available to the general public on online channels. It does not apply to contracted, wholesale, group or contracted rates, packaged or opaque rates, or qualified membership rates or government rates. Any unauthorised representation of these rates on any online channel is considered breach of the Terms and Conditions as accepted by the guest and will not be considered for Best Rate Guarantee. Guests are recommended not to participate with such unauthorised sites
Rates on the ITC Hotels website are subject to change without prior notice. If the lower contested rates is also available on the ITC Hotels website, the claim would be invalid
The claim would only be valid if the competing rate is available on the competing site at the time of the validation process
Guest will have to provide a screenshot of the competing Rate as seen on the Online Website with the claim form. Without the screen shot the claim will not be considered valid. The screenshot should clearly show the room type selected, URL (in cases where the competing rate is on a website), the rate inclusions and time stamp

Does the Best Rate Guarantee apply only to certain rates?
ITC Hotels’ Best Rate Guarantee applies to published rates (Flexible rates / BAR rates), Advance purchase, Daily specials, Extended stay (under 30 nights) available to the general public on online channels. It does not apply to group or contracted rates, packaged or opaque rates, or qualified membership rates (rates obtained by virtue of being part of a membership programme), Pre-paid rates which involve a voucher to be redeemed at the hotel, Rate which is obtained after applying any promotional code/e-voucher/gift-card/wallet balance by the customer on any website/mobile application, advertised or enquiry only rates or rates found offline. Do I need to make a confirmed reservation in order to submit a Best Rate Guarantee claim?
A valid and confirmed reservation at an ITC Hotel that is booked through www.itchotels.in is required to qualify for submitting a Best Rate Guarantee Claim.
What is acceptable evidence of a lower rate?
Once you have submitted the claim with proof of the lower rate in form of screenshots, a dedicated team will do a search to verify the validity of the lower rate based on the information you supplied, subject to Terms and Conditions of the programme. If the rate is no longer available, the guarantee will not apply.
What would happen if my claim is valid?
If the claim is found to be valid post our verification, we will match the lower rate found on the 3rd party site and give you an additional 15% discount on that rate, excluding taxes.
How soon would my claim be settled?
If the claim is found to be valid post verification by our team, we will get in touch within 2 business days of your submitting a claim.
What if I don't hear back from the Customer Service team after submitting my Best Rate Guarantee claim?

What if I find a better rate for my ITC Hotels booking on a travel website a week after making the booking? Will the Best Rate Guarantee be applicable to me?
The BRG offer stands only on claim forms submitted within 24 hours of making the initial reservation on ITC Hotels' web site and at least 48 hours before check-in time of the hotel (The standard check-in time of the hotels is 2 pm IST)
Are taxes, service charges and other additional costs included in the Best Rate Guarantee?

I paid for my booking in rupees through the ITC Hotels website. However, I found an Online Travel Agency with slightly better rates for bookings made in dollars.
If the rate discrepancy is solely due to currency exchange calculations, we reserve the right to deny the claim.
How do I know if my claim form has been received?
You will receive an e-mail confirmation or a phone call from us within 24 hours of your submitting the claim.
Will my claim be valid if I find a lower rate available on the ITC Hotels website post making a confirmed booking on the website?
The rates on the ITC Hotels website are subject to change without prior notice. The claim will only be valid in case a lower rate is available on a platform other than the ITC Hotels website and that competing rate is not available on ITC Hotels' website at that time.
Can I submit a claim without providing a screenshot of the lower rate available on another platform?
The claim needs to be supported by requisite screenshots. Please read the terms carefully to know about the details required while submitting the claim. A duly filled-in claim form will help our team revert quicker on your query.
