meet the chef
Coming from a lineage of Royal Chefs, Chef Qureshi joined ITC Maurya in 1977 and was instrumental in the inception of Dum Pukht - a legendary restaurant that presents the finer nuances of Awadhi cuisine with its slow-cooked recipes. He has had the pleasure of curating meals for various World Leaders and delighting them with his specialty dishes.
Chef Qureshi learned the secrets of Dum cooking from his father and refined the iconic recipes of Indian royalty. To perfect his knowledge in this ancient art, he even studied ancient Urdu manuscripts.
